I found this recipe on Kate Pugh's cookery site. It's particularly nice with curry or with veggie sausages/burgers.
Ingredients
1 large red pepper (capsicum)
1/8 small onion
15ml (one tablespoon) lemon juice
5ml (one teaspoon) cumin seed
Ground black pepper
Finely slice the pepper and onion into shortish pieces.
Put the sliced pepper and onion into a non-metallic bowl and add the lemon juice, cumin seed and black pepper (to taste). It's important to use a non-metallic bowl otherwise the lemon juice will react with it and produce a metallic taste).
Mix well and leave for at least an hour at room temperature before serving.
